Film Description

This gritty first film takes the viewer to the streets of Little Rock and Memphis to provide a candid examination of how people end up on the streets, what life there is like, and what is being done by some committed individuals to address the blight and human loss.

Filmmaker Information

Michad Holliday was born in Memphis, Tennessee and dodged the pitfalls of inner city life with sports and academic pursuits. He earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and transferred to Harding University, where he first became involved in filmmaking. After earning a Master’s Degree in Education, Michad went to work at Fox 16 News as a photojournalist. He is currently employed at AETN (Arkansas Public Television) as an editor and videographer. STREET STORIES is his first documentary. Michad and his highly-supportive wife Priscilla have four children.
