In the orange
groves of Florida comedy is blossoming as three
nine-year-olds embark on a quest for beer and
cigarettes. This leads them down the path towards
adulthood where they find something greater…love. Penny
is a firecracker of a girl who has always been one of
the guys. When her best friends, Tiny and Coop, decide
they want to “do it” with some older girls (with no idea
of what that means), she is inevitably pulled along for
the ride. As Penny recognizes her affection for Tiny she
is drawn out of the safety of childhood and into the
confusing world of lipstick, boys and belly buttons.
