Armed with a
reel-to-reel tape, 14 year-old Beatles fanatic Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon’s hotel room in Toronto
in 1969 and convinced John to do an interview about
peace. Thirty-eight years later, director Josh Raskin
marries the original interview audio with illustrations
by James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina to create a
spell-binding vessel for Lennon’s boundless wit and
timeless message.
