Synopsis:
Arkansas is a water rich state, but growth
in agriculture, industry, and population
strain this once abundant resource. Farmers,
geologists, experts, and concerned citizens
share their opinions and stories about how
water is managed in Arkansas and what we
need to do to protect this irreplaceable
resource.

Mark Wilcken
moved to Arkansas from the Pacific Northwest
in 2001. He holds a B.A. in English
Literature from UC Irvine and an MA in Film
Production from Humboldt State University.
He taught video production for three years
at the University of Central Arkansas and
his first documentary, PLAY ON, aired
internationally on the ABC Asia Pacific
network. Wilcken is currently working on a
documentary on Arkansas history.
Michad
Holliday attended the University of Arkansas
at Pine Bluff and Harding University. where
he earned a Master's Degree in Education. He
worked for Fox 16 News as a photojournalist
and is currently employed at AETN (Arkansas
Public Television) as an editor and
videographer. His first documentary, STREET
STORIES, explored life on the streets in
Little Rock and Memphis. He is currently at
work on a documentary about the history of
child support in Arkansas.
