Synopsis:  An experimental 35mm animation that tells the story of a girl who goes to surprising lengths to find relief from a toothache. Shot on location in Arkansas, California, and in-between, the film utilizes various techniques of stop-motion, hand-processing, and film development with coffee.

A native of rural Arkansas, Juli is a media artist specializing in unique photographic and motion picture images. She graduated in 2005 from Philadelphia's University of the Arts with a BFA in Film & Video. Since then, Juli has acted as Director of Photography for two independent feature films and worked in the film industry in Los Angeles for three years before returning to Arkansas to pursue her own creative work.

 

 

Jim Anderson was raised in the Chicago suburbs and took to the camera at a young age. High school television classes lead to studying film at Columbia College Chicago. Upon receiving his BFA in film, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue "the business." With a feature film and several shorts under his belt, he is ready for the next step and a bigger audience.
