Synopsis: Through the lens of three fathers turned soccer coaches, the film depicts and analyzes the cultural landscape of soccer in small town America, from its beginnings in the early 70's to its present, highly-organized structure. OFFSIDE(S) celebrates the soccer experience while providing astute analysis of an imported sport that now occupies a prominent place in the American sports scene and within small town America.
