Synopsis:
MEMORIES OF VIOLA is a story of love, loss,
and the redemptive power of friendship told
along the banks of the Ouachita River in
rural Arkansas. In order to move forward
with her life and overcome a tragic loss,
Viola must embrace the river and find hope
in its healing waters. |

Michael
Gunter is a Lecturer in the Department of
Mass Communication and Theatre at the
University of Central Arkansas where he
teaches Digital Filmmaking and
Cinematography. Mr. Gunter's film credits
include being the Director of Photography on
the feature length documentary THE OLD GRAY
LADY: ARKANSAS' FIRST NEWSPAPER. His 2007
narrative short film THE CLEANER was
screened at the Ozark Foothills FilmFest and
the Indie Memphis Film Festival.
