Synopsis: A portrait of the mothers and fathers, sons and daughters who make up the Islamic community in Arkansas. Holliday has conducted interviews with spiritual and community leaders in an attempt to counter the stereotypes and present the Islamic community as civic-minded, responsible, and deeply committed to faith and family.
Michad Holliday works as a videographer and editor for the Arkansas Educational Television Newwork (AETN) and is a faculty member in the T Tauri (Youth) Movie Camp. His powerful documentary, STREET STORIES, screened at the 2008 Ozark Foothills FilmFest, and he was videographer on TROUBLED WATER, screened at OFFF in 2009. He is currently developing a documentary about parents' roles in early education.
